How we look after your details

Kalyanastories builds wedding invitation websites for couples. This notice explains what we collect from couples, their guests and people who enquire, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Why we use it

To run the couple's wedding site, to show replies, wishes and photos to the couple, and to reply to enquiries. We don't sell your details, show you adverts or use your details for anything else. By sending a reply, wish, photo or enquiry, you agree to us using it this way.

Who can see it

Photos and location

Phone photos can contain the place they were taken. When anyone downloads an original photo from a gallery, we remove the location first. The photo itself is not changed.

How long we keep it

Wedding sites stay online for the period in the couple's package. Original photos are kept until the couple confirms they've saved them, then deleted after a short grace period. Smaller gallery copies, replies and wishes are deleted when the site's period ends. Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to reply and follow up.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent. Guests can also ask the couple to hide a wish or remove a photo. To make a request or a complaint, use the enquiry form on our contact page. We'll confirm who you are and respond as soon as we can.

Cookies and storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Couples get a sign-in cookie for their private view. On a wedding site, your phone may remember small things, such as your reply, so you can change it later.

Children

Wedding sites aren't meant for children to use on their own. If a photo of a child is shared and a parent wants it removed, contact the couple or us.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update this page and the date below.
